Raekwon dropped an absolute classic with Only Built for Cuban Linx when it first dropped on August 1st 1995. Die hard fans waited through years as the sequel was pushed back, shelved, un-shelved and surrounded by a confusing and frustrating plethora of smoke and mirrors.

Well the wait is over.

As I sit and listen to an advanced copy of the much anticipated Only Built 4 Cuban Linx PT II, I can't help but feel like an emcee finally is reminding us what happens when you stay true to your fans, and yourself. Banger after banger, in true Wu fashion (No that isn't a wu-wear reference). Rae has done his job, and quite well. Now it's our turn. Go out and support the artist. Pick up a copy of Cuban Linx II when it drops on September 8, 2009. It's time to show this desperate industry that we'll still support music, if it's good. And this, is DAMN good.
